There’s a new Porsche 911 that has arrived in India, and this time its the hardcore GT2RS. It can be yours for a cool Rs. 3.88 crore ex showroom.

The 911 GT2RS is the most powerful road going 911 ever made. It is currently the fastest production car to lap the Nurburgring with a time of 6 minutes, 47.3 seconds. The firepower comes from a 3.8 litre flat six turbo charged engine that puts out a mammoth 700 horsepower and 750 Nm of max torque. The motor is mated to a 7 speed PDK gearbox that sends all that power to the rear wheels. Porsche claims a 0 to 100 kph timing of just 2.8 seconds and the GT2RS goes to a top speed of 340 kph. Other features include Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system as standard, rear-axle steering and active driving systems including the PSM Sport function for faster lap times.

On the exterior, the GT2RS features a carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre front fenders and ORVM casings, magnesium alloy wheels, a titanium exhaust. It features a lightweight, aluminium-steel composite construction. The GT2RS just weighs 1,470kg and it also gets the option of the Weissach package that shaves another 30 kg from the weight of the car.

The interior comprises of Alcantara and black leather along with carbon weave finish. Other equipment include a sports steering with paddle shifters and bucket seats. The Clubsport package will add a roll cage and six-point driver seat belt as standard.
