The Renault Triber has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 4.95 lakh all India ex showroom. The Triber will be available in four variants.

The Triber is built on Renault’s modular CMF-A+ platform that also underpins the Kwid. It measures 3,990mm in length, 1,739mm in width, 1,643mm in height and 2,636mm in wheelbase. It is one of the two sub four metre seven seaters in the Indian market apart from the Datsun Go+.

The Renault Triber is powered by an updated versiio of the 1.0 litre petrol engine that also does duty in the Kwid hatchback. The three cylinder motors puts out 72 horsepower and 92 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. An AMT gearbox is expected later in the future.

In terms of features, the Renault Triber gets a semi digital instrument cluster, an 8.0 in touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, protector headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, AC vents in all three rows, keyless entry, push button start/stop, power windows and a cooled glove box.

Standard safety features include dual airbags, three point seat belts, rear parking sensors, ABS, seat belt reminder and speed alert system. The higher trim variants get four airbags and a reverse camera.
