2018 Lexus ES300h Handling & Safety

The ES comes with a new multi-link suspension set up at the rear. The ride quality is mighty impressive and the car just glides over bad patches of road with undulations not filtering into the cabin. Vertical movement is also well controlled. The steering feels light at city speeds and is well weighted but could do with better feedback. The ES will take to corners happily but there is body roll and you do feel the length of the car as well. Saying, it again, this sedan feels best driven in a relaxed manner.

The new ES300h comes with a load of safety kit. This includes 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, VSC, Emergency Brake Signal and Tyre Pressure Warning System.
