The Mercedes C-Class featured a new 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine with a 48 V mild hybrid system in the C200 when the facelift was launched in 2018. The car maker has now updated the C200 with a new 2.0 litre turbo petrol motor.

The 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine in the C200 makes 203 horsepower and goes from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed 7.7 seconds. The motor comes mated to a 9-speed G-Tronic automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. It has a top speed of 239 kph.

The C200 is sold in two variants, Prime and Progressive. Features across the range include 10.25 inch screen for the COMMAND infotainment system, 64 colour ambient lighting, LED headlamps, smartphone package, 17 inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, digital instrument cluster, powered front seats with memory function for driver and a Midline sound system. The embedded-SIM based Mercedes Me connected car technology is available as standard across the model range.

The Mercedes-Benz C200 is priced between Rs. 40.90 lakh and 46.54 lakh ex showroom.
