The 2020 Jaguar F-Type facelift is now on sale in India with prices starting at Rs. 95.12 lakh ex showroom. The model globally unveiled at the end of 2019.
The facelift for the Jaguar F-Type sports car is quite substantial. There are slimmer J shaped LED headlamps, a reworked front grille, and a new front bumper. The overall silhouette of the car remains the same. The rear features slimmer redesigned LED tail lamps.
Changes to the interior include a new 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster and a 10 inch touch screen for the infotainment system. The infotainment system also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Jaguar F-Type facelift will come with two engine options. First is a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo petrol (P300) engine that develops 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The second is a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine that’s available in two states of tune. The P450 makes 450 horses and 580 Nm torque, while the P575 develops 575 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
The 0 to 100 kph sprint timings are 5.7 seconds for the P300, 4.6 seconds for the P450 and 3.7 seconds for the P575. An eight speed automatic gearbox is standard across all three variants. While the P300 and P450 are rear wheel drive, the P575 gets an all wheel drive system as standard.
The F-Type facelift is also available as a convertible and as a First Edition model.
