The Audi Q2 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 34.99 lakh ex showroom. The Q2 will be sold in India as a CBU.

The Audi Q2 is base on the MQB platform that also underpins a number of Volkswagen and Skoda cars as well. It  measures 4191 mm in length, 1794 mm in width, 1508 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2601 mm.

Features of the Audi Q2 include LED headlamps and tail lamps, daytime running LEDs, Audi Virtual cockpit instrument cluster, flat bottom steering wheel, electric sunroof, wireless charging for smartphones, dual zone climate control, sports seats at the front, MMI infotainment system, 10 colour ambient lighting, front and rear parking sensors.

Power for the Audi Q2 comes from a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo petrol engine that develops 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox and Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system is standard. There will be no diesel on offer.

The Audi Q2 will be offered in five different variants in India –Standard, Premium, Premium Plus 1, Premium Plus 2, and Technology.
