Volkswagen has unveiled the Polo GTI at the Auto Expo 2016. The car will be officially launched in September 2016. The GTI for India will come in the three door configuration.
Power comes from a 1.8 litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops a whopping 190 bhp of power. . It will come mated to a seven speed DSG automatic gearbox.
On the exterior, the Volkswagen Polo GTI gets sporty bumpers, 17 inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust pipes and a honeycomb grille with GTI badging. It also gets a GTI specific rear spoiler. Safety features include. ABS, ESP & Hill-hold functions and airbags.

The Polo GTI will be sold as a fully imported CBU so expect pricing to be on the higher side of Rs. 20 lakh.
