The Ford Ecosport SE variant has been launched at Rs. 10.49 lakh ex showroom. The new variant below the top end S in the model lineup.
The Ecosport SE ditches the tail gate mounted spare wheel that seen in other variants of this compact SUV in India. Instead it now comes with a puncture repair kit as standard. The SE gets styling from the international model that has been on sale since 2015.
The Ecosport shares its features list with the Titanium variant and comes with projector headlamps LED DRLs, SYNC 3 infotainment system, electric sunroof, tyre pressure monitor, Ford Pass car connectivity, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear view camera etc.
Engine options remain the same. The Ecosport SE is powered by a 122 hp 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine and a 100 hp 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel engine. Both engines in the SE will come mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.
