Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division has announced the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. The car will be restricted to only 300 units world wide once it goes into production.

The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will use a retuned version of the 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine. The motor will now develop 600 horsepower under the hood of the Project 8, making it the fastest road legal Jaguar in the history of the company.

The car will is designed, engineered and will be assembled by SVO’s Technical centre at Coventry in the UK. A prototype of the sports sedan has made it debut at the Nurburgring and features exclusive camouflage created by SVO Design.

The XE SV Project 8 will be the second Collectors’ Edition vehicle from SVO after the Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 in 2014.

Full specs of the car will be revealed on June 28, 2017 and the global debut will happen on June 30, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex in the UK.
