In the build up to the Auto Expo 2020, Kia Motors India has revealed sketches of their compact SUV concept that will be unveiled at the Show. Once in production, it will be Kia’s third model in their India portfolio.
About the design, upfront the concept gets the trademark Kia tiger nose grille, with honey comb elements finished in red. Thr front bumper gets aggressive styling and a very wide central air dam flanked by vertical air dams on either side of the bumper. The headlamps have a sleek design and feature daytime running LED lamps. The bonnet is muscular with a flat stance and features prominent creases. From the side, the concept gets black cladding for the wheel arches, diamond cut alloy wheels, There is a sloping roof line and the concept also features roof rails. The features a raked and wide rear windshield. The LED tail lamps get a red strip running between them and the large rear bumper features silver inserts giving a very sporty feel.
Kia hasn’t revealed any sketches of the interiors yet.
Since the new compact SUV will be under 4 metres in length, it will rival the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Ford Ecosport and the Mahindra XUV300.
