The Kia SP SUV is all set to launch in India come August 2019. Now according to a media report, the car maker is working on a performance focussed variant for a 2020 launch in In the Indian market.
The sporty variant of the SUV is expected to come with a body kit and interiors to match. However, the main difference will be under the hood. The KIA SP SUV will come with a 1.4 litre turbo petrol that will develop 140 horsepower and will come mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Thats’s not all, a reworked sport suspension set up is also expected.
The standard SP SUV will feature a choice of 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engines. These engines are expected to conform to the upcoming BS VI emission norms. Transmission option would include both manual and automatic gearboxes.
The Kia SP SUV is expected to come with a host of standard features and car maker has confirmed that it will be priced between Rs. 10 to 16 lakh.
