Land Rover India has announced the opening of booking for the iconic Defender in India. The Defender will be brought to India as a CBU and deliveries will begin in August 2020.
Land Rover will bring the Defender to India in two body styles : 90 (3 door) and 110 (5 door). The India spec Defender will be power by a 2.0 litre petrol engine develops 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
The New Defender will be offered in five different variants across both 90 and 110; Base, S, SE, HSE and First Edition. Features across the variants include 360° Surround Camera, Wade Sensing, Electronic Air Suspension (Standard on 110), Smartphone Pack, Connected Navigation Pro, Off-Road tyres, Centre Console with refrigerated compartment (optional). It will also feature multiple seating options and accessory packs.
Prices for the Land Rover Defender will start from Rs. 69.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 86.27 lakh ex showroom.
