The Mahindra XUV500 has received a number of updates to the on board infotainment system. These features include Android Auto and apps like Gaana, Cricket Live, Zomato, BookMyShow, etc. that will come preloaded in the system. The apps can be accessed even if these are not available in the smart phone. However they will require a wi-fi hotspot to work

The XUV500 gets a new feature called Ecosense. In this feature, for every trip, the user gets an Ecoscore out of 100, based on driving parameters like – speed, gear selection, acceleration, idling, clutch override and aggressive breaking. During the trip, the infotainment system keeps displaying an instantaneous Ecoscore and an average Ecoscore. The data and history to the Ecosense can be accessed on the infotainment system as well as on the Bluesense app and the With You Hamesha website.

Additionally thr car gets the E-Call feature.E-Call provides access to emergency services in the event that airbags get deployed. This feature automatically calls the emergency service and also sends a text alert to 2 pre-set numbers through a paired mobile phone.The XUV500 now comes with a one touch lane change indicator. All these features will be standard on the SUV starting from the W6 variant that will start from Rs. 13.8 lakh ex showroom Navi Mumbai.

The XUV500 W10 also gets an all new Lake-Side Brown colour with premium Black interiors
