The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine has been launched in India at prices starting Rs. 39.9 lakh ex showroom for the A200 petrol. The A200d comes at Rs. 40.9 lakh, while the AMG A35 which is locally assembled is priced at Rs. 56.24 lakh.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine gets two 10.25 inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and the MBUX infotainment system. The features list includes, LED headlamps and tail lamps, 64 colour ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charger, 5 USB C ports, dual zone climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a large panoramic roof.
The AMG A35 gets AMG styling with aggressively styled bumpers, AMG alloy wheels, a rear diffuser, boot lip spoiler and twin exhausts.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class limousine in three variants – A200 with a 1.3 litre turbo petrol developing 163 horsepower and 250 Nm torque, A200d with a 2.0 litre diesel good for 150 hp and 320 Nm and the AMG A35 will come with a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine putting out 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The A200 and AMG A35 get a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, while the A200d features an eight speed dual clutch automatic transmission
Mercedes-Benz is offering a 3 year standard warranty on the A-Class Limousine and for the first time an 8 year warranty on the engine and gearbox.
The A-Class Limousine replaces the CLA sedan in India.
