2016-bentley-continental-gt-speed-black-edition (1)The new updated Bentley Continental GT Speed has been revealed and it now comes with more power and torque.

The 6.0 litre W12 engine now makes 642 horsepower as opposed to the earlier 635 and torque upped to 840 Nm, thats 20 Nm more than the previous car. The boost control has been optimized to offer the torque through the entire rev range and peak torque is now available between 2000 to 5000 rpm. The 0 to 100 kph stint is done in 4.1 seconds and top speed is a mental 331 kph.2016-bentley-continental-gt-speed-black-edition (4) 2016-bentley-continental-gt-speed-black-edition (2)Bentley has also introduced the Continental GT Speed Black Edition and it will be available in both coupe and convertible versions. This special model gets black finished accents, including for the window openings and lamp bezels. It gets 21 inch black five-spoke directional wheels with a choice of either red or black brake callipers. The Black Edition also features contrast colours to the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser in four different shades: Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red and a new shade, Cyber Yellow. Customers can also choose to colour-match the door mirrors as well.

The interior gets carbon fibre treatment to the front fascia, centre and roof consoles. The seats and centre console get contrasting leather available in Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or new Cyber Yellow to match the exterior styling accents. The upgraded W12 engine in the Bentley Continental GT Speed models is entirely assembled by 30 dedicated Bentley colleagues over 12½ hours.
