Spy shots of the next generation Honda Civic have surfaced online. While car is camouflaged, there are some details visible in the pictures.

The car spied testing is the four door sedan version of the Civic. From the spy shots, the front features redesigned LED headlamps and larger central air dam. The chrome bar which is now a Honda trademark appears to be higher up than the current generation car. From the side, the profile appears like a fast back, just like the current gen, with a sloping roofline. The shy shots do not offer a view of the rear.

Nothing is yet know about the engine options that will be on offer. In India, the Civic gets a 1.8 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine putting out 141 hp mated to a CVT gearbox. Honda is expected to relaunch the 1.6 litre 120 hp diesel in BS6 form soon and that comes mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.

The eleventh gen Honda Civic is expected to debut in 2021-2022. India has seen two generations of the Civic in India so far. The 8th gen from 2006 to 2012 and the tenth gen since 2019.7
