British carmaker Land Rover has announced the launch of petrol powered Range Rover Sport. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbocharged setup making 296 hp (221kw) and 400 Nm of torque. It is capable of accelerating this mammoth of a vehicle from naught to a 100 in 7.1 s and provides for a top speed of over 200 km/h.

For the 2019 model, the Sport packs in features like 3-zone climate control, Protect, Control Pro, Park Pro, and cabin Air ionisation. The cabin is also electronically loaded with features such as the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that delivers through a 12.3-inch interactive display and a full colour heads up display unit.

The new Range Rover sport retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 86.71 lakh and shall be available in 3 trim levels, namely S, SE and HSE.
