Rolls Royce has announced the Ghost Extended super luxury limousine. The Rolls Royce Ghost Extended is the long wheel base version of the Ghost and will come to India with a starting price of Rs. 7.95 crore.

The Ghost Extended comes with a 170 mm longer wheelbase, that results in more space for the rear passengers. It can also be specified with a reclining Serenity Seat that will offer comfort levels of a business class jet. The car also comes with a champagne fridge between the rear seats that has been developed in consultation with a Master Sommelier.

The Ghost Extended also features a new Micro-Environment Purification System (MEPS). This technology enhances existing air filtration systems through software and hardware. Highly sensitive Impurity Detection Sensors detect ambient air quality, automatically activating fresh air intakes into Recirculation Mode. If unacceptable levels of airborne contaminants are detected, the air is passed through a nanofleece filter that is capable of removing nearly all ultra-fine particles within the cabin in less than two minutes.

The Ghost Extended gets all the other features of the standard wheelbase Ghost including the Planar Suspension system, all wheel drive and all wheel steering.

Power comes from a 6.75 litre twin turbo V12 engine that develops 571 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.

First customer deliveries are expected in the last quarter of 2020. Expect the Rolls Royce Ghost Extended to reach Indian shores in the first quarter of 2021.
