Tata Nexon Ev Max Ride & Handling

As with all Tata cars, the Nexon EV Max too boasts of great ride quality. Yes it does feel a little firm at very low speeds and big undulations will be felt in the cabin. It improves significantly as you build up speed. It is also happy going around corners and the tyres provide good grip. Body roll is well controlled. The steering feels light when you are driving in city conditions and weighs up well as you go faster. Braking power is excellent and the car comes with all four disc brakes. Additionally you get ESP, Traction Control, Hydraulic brake fading compensation, After impact braking and Panic brake alert.

Tata Nexon Ev Max Charging

As far as charging goes, the 7.2kWh charger that can be installed at home or office will charge your Nexon EV Max from 0 to 100 percent in in 6.5 hours. A portable charging cable is also provided with the car which you can plug in to any 15 Amp plug point. This takes around 15 hours to charge to a 100 percent. A point to note is that charging from 0 to 80 percent is quicker in all EVs. It’s the 81 to 100 percent that takes longer. That said, even a 80 percent charge should be enough for a decent commute of 3 to 4 days. You need not charge everyday.

I have the Tata Power EZ Charge app installed on my phone and it works quite seamlessly. It shows you the nearest chargers, types of connectors, tariff and even tells you if they are operational or not. I have other apps to but I haven’t used them till date. Hopefully soon.
