Shutterbugs have released yet another series of spy shots of the test mules of the facelifted Tiago and Tigor. Even though the cars are still under camouflage, it is immediately noticeable that they have undergone Tata’s Impact 2.0 treatment.

The Tiago and Tigor share common underpinnings and have thus received similar styling updates. The front is sharp and inspired by the upcoming Tata Altroz. The siblings get projector headlamps and an updated front bumper design with new fog lamp housings. The rear bumpers of both cars have been re-profiled; however, the sides are still the same. Similarly, the interiors have not received any design changes.

Under the hood, the 1.2-litre Revotron 3-pot petrol motor remains the same, making 84 hp and 115 Nm of torque. It can be had with a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission. Tata, however, will axe the 1.05-litre diesel motor variant, as it is not BS-VI compliant.

While no comments have been made on the pricing, it is quite probable that they will be a notch higher than the current prices. We expect the facelifted Tiago and Tigor to hit the market later this year, with their respective JTP variants in close pursuit.
