The new Land Rover Discovery will be available in four trim levels: S, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury. Features across variants include an updated In Control Touch Infotainment system with 10 inch touchscreen, nine USB slots and 6 12v charging points, 14 speaker Meridian Surround Sound System, in car 3G Wi-Fi Hotspot and powered tail gate. 4 iPads can be stored in the centre console area. The new Discovery also gets the Activity Key that allows to enjoy sports or other active hobbies without having to worry about the car’s standard key fob. By holding the Activity Key up to the ‘D’ in the Discovery badge on the tailgate, it will not just lock the car, but also disable the regular key which you can safely leave inside.land-rover-discovery-8land-rover-discovery-10The new Discovery has a massive 2,500 litres of boot space with all rows folded and 1,231 litres with only the third row folded down.  The powered tail gate has a split layout.

The new Land Rover Discovery will come with a variety of engine options. A 2.0 Ingenium four cylinder diesel TD4 developing 180 horsepower, 2.0 Ingenium twin turbo diesel SD4 good for 240 horsepower and 500 Nm torque, 3.0 litre V6 diesel developing 258 horsepower and 600 Nm torque and a 3.0 litre V6 petrol motor churning out 340 horsepower and 450 Nm torque.

The new Discovery will be launched in a limited run ‘ First Edition’. Only 2400 units will be made and they will feature unique badging, etched map detailing for the doors and facia, special colours and loads of standard equipment.

The new Land Rover Discovery will be launched in India next year.
