As a car, the Altis has always been very popular amongst buyers thanks to its no nonsense characteristics, bullet proof reliability and hassle free ownership experience. This year, Toyota has given its trusted steed a mid life makeover to help the car keep up with its competition. We take a look at what’s new in the refreshed model.
2017 Toyota Corolla Altis exterior
It’s not easy to notice the changes to the 2017 Altis at first glance. Once you get up close, you get to see the bigger picture. There are significant updates to the front end. The headlamps are all new and feature a long, slim design. They are bi-beam LED units and feature L shaped daytime running lamps. The grille is also thinner than before and looks sleek while blending in the flow line of the headlamps. The front bumper now looks beefy with a wide central air dam and round fog lights on either side. The side profile remains unchanged and we love the design of the 16 inch alloys. The rear gets different detailing on the LED tail lamps which look smart.
