The Jaguar XE was launched in India at the Auto Expo in 2016 and has been one of the most fun to drive cars in the market. It has been around for four years now and during this time, its rivals from Mercedes and BMW have given it some competition. So Jaguar has now introduced the 2020 Jaguar XE sedan that comes with styling updates, interior changes and a set of engines updated to meet BS VI emission norms. Also to make things less complicated, the XE will now be available in two trim levels, S and SE. We took the range topping SE turbo petrol P250 for a spin to bring you this report.

2020 Jaguar XE Exterior

First up, the new Caldera Red on the new XE is absolutely smashing and brownie points to Jaguar India to bring in the media test car in this shade. There are new slimmer LED headlamps along with DRLs that also double up as dynamic turn indicators. The front grille is larger and more prominent now. The SE variants also get the Black Pack as standard where the chrome elements are blackened on the grille, fenders and window trims. The alloy wheels have a grey finish but the design could have been sportier for such a stunning looking car. The bumpers get a redesign, as do the LED tail lamps.
