2020 Range Rover Evoque Interior

Open the doors and the you are welcomed by the Evoque logo projection on the ground. Once inside, you are greeted by a plush and well finished cabin. There’s lots of leather around and the soft touch materials on the dashboard and door pads have a premium feel. The brushed silver accents around the AC vents add a nice contrast. The steering wheel is similar to what you get in other Land Rover models and feels great to hold. I also love the feature touch steering mounted controls. You get a 10 inch touchscreen infotainment system on the upper dash, that is pretty slick to use. The lower half of the centre console gets a screen with dials for the climate control and the different off-road modes. The ever so popular circular gear dial has been replaced by a conventional gear lever. The panoramic sunroof also gives an airy feel to the cabin. While our test car was the S trim, the R-Dynamic SE does come with a lot of equipment like a 380W Meridian Sound system, Clear View Rear View Mirror, Touch Pro Duo infotainment and digital driver display.

The front seats feel nice and firm and are pretty comfortable. While the S model here gets 10 way electric adjust, the ones in the R-Dynamic SE can be adjusted in 14 different ways. Things at the rear are not bad either. Legroom is decent but could have been better, and the sloping roofline doesn’t hinder headroom as such. The backrest also has a good recline. The rear is best for two occupants though. The middle passenger will feel uncomfortable due to the protruding centre back rest and the high transmission tunnel.  The 591 litre boot is quite spacious and will fit in a lot of cargo. The loading lip isnt high either and you have the convenience of a powered tail gate.
