Audi e-tron 55 quattro Interior
The story on the inside is similar to that on the outside. The interior styling is just like any other new age Audi that is on sale today. The entire cabin reeks of top notch quality. The layered dashboard has a beautiful feel and there is e-tron lettering on the passenger side to remind you what you are driving. There are two high quality screens angled towards the driver which are for the infotainment and climate control respectively. The display is crisp and there is mild vibration and click sound when you press an option. The only thing is that you will get distracted from the road while operating the screen. The virtual cockpit digital instrument cluster is one of the best around. And my favourite part is the gear lever which looks straight out of a Star Wars spaceship. There are lots of storage spaces all around and the smartphone wireless charging has a perpendicular slot in the centre console as opposed to a flat pad we are so used to see in other cars. You also get four zone climate control, soft closing doors, air quality package, 30 colour ambient lighting and a superb sounding Bang & Olufsen 16 speaker 705W sound system.
The front seats are large and cushion you well. They get electric adjust and travel is good too. It is pretty easy to find the perfect driving position even for a short driver like me. The rear seats are great too and there is a lot of space on offer. Under thigh support is good and even the back rest angle is nice. The low window line and large sunroof give the cabin a very airy feel. The floor is flat and a third passenger would be uncomfortable in the middle, except for the protruding rear centre console that could interfere with the knees. The rear windows also get their own sun blinds. Standard boot space is a huge 660 litres that can increase to 1,725 litres by flipping down the rear seats. A space saver tyre is tucked away under the boot floor. And since there is no engine, you do have space upfront as well, to keep charging cables or a small bag.
