The Blue Oval from Detroit is at the centre of attention for motoring enthusiasts once again, this time with a new incarnation of it’s tribute to the Le Mans hero, the Ford GT.

The Ford GT, last seen in 2017 was recently teased as a silhouette in a poster, followed by an announcement of a ‘dedicated press conference’ at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, 2019. While not much is revealed, a massive spoiler at the rear and a roof scoop are easily visible, leading us to believe that a track friendly animal is on the cards. Also featuring are the DRLs, very similar to the ones found on the current GT.

The car is purported to have a 647 hp V6 and some serious track numbers, though there is no speculation at this stage.

The 2019 Ford GT will be announced on 4th July from Ford’s paddock at the coveted gathering at 9:45 pm local time.
