Safety features include dual airbags as standard across all variants, only the range topping SX(O) gets six. The automatic misses out on those too. Other safety features on the DCT include ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Assist, Vehicle Stability Management, parking sensors with rear view camera, speed alert system and ISOFIX.
Hyundai Venue 1.0 GDI petrol DCT Verdict
The Hyundai Venue may have come in late but there is no doubt that it is a well engineered product. The Korean car maker has always been generous with features, and the Venue is no different. However, some omissions on the SX trim of the DCT are a downer. The 1.0 three cylinder is a fantastic motor, making the Venue fun to drive mated to that quick shifting 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. A three year unlimited km standard warranty is also the cherry on the cake. At Rs. 13.35 lakh on road in Mumbai, the SX DCT is well priced, but we still feel that a top end SX(O) AT should be offered. To sum things up, the Venue has everything in its arsenal to go to the top of the heap in the C-SUV segment. Competition is only a good thing for us customers. Interesting times ahead.
