lamborghini_aventador_s_02The Lamborghini Aventador replacement will retain the naturally aspirated V12 engine according to Lambo boss Stefano Domenicali. Speaking during an interview to Car Advice, he confirmed the the V12 wont be ditched for turbo charging on their flagship model.

Stefano further added that the Aventador is “totally different, because it remains our reference point for being Lamborghini.” The company also says that the flagship model “will remain a very very specific car” then the other models in the Raging Bull line up.

Lamborghini recently unveiled the Aventador S and Domenicali said that an all new model to replace the Aventador is still five to six years away.

The first turbo charged model from Lamborghini will be the Urus with a 4.0 litre twin turbo engine that has been developed by Porsche. The company boss has also hinted of a sub Huracan model but that would depend on the success of the Urus after it goes on sale in 2018.
