Mercedes-AMG has revealed the new C 63 Coupe. The car will make its global debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month and will go on sale in March 2016

The C 63 Coupe gets aggressive styling with flared wheel arches that make it 64 mm wider at the front and 66 mm wider at the rear. The car gets a single slat grille along with sport bumpers and side skirts. The rear gets a diffuser with quad exhausts and a rear lip spoiler.

Power comes from the same 4.0 litre bi turbo V8 that does duty in the AMG GT and comes in two states of tune. The regular C 63 Coupe makes 476 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque while the more powerful S variant develops 510 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque . 0 to 100 kph timings are 4 seconds for the regular C 63 Coupe and 3.9 seconds for the S variant. Both have an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. The engine is mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission.

The C 63 Coupe comes  with 10-spoke light-alloy wheels 9.0″ x 18″ (front) and 10.5″ x 18″ (rear) as well as with tyres of size 255/40 R 18″ (front) and 285/35 R 18″ (rear). In the the C 63 S Coupe, the tyre sizes are 255/35 R 19″ (front) and 285/30 R 19″ (rear) on 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels 9.0″ x 19″ (front) and 10.5″ x 19″ (rear).

The car is equipped with AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adjustable damping, where the driver can choose between maximum sportiness and excellent long-distance comfort in three stages at the press of a button.  The regular C 63 Coupe comes with a mechanical rear-axle limited-slip differential, while the C 63 S Coupe gets an electronic rear-axle limited-slip differential. Both differentials reduce the slip on the inside wheel when cornering, without control interventions in the braking system.
