A new Maruti Suzuki model always garners a lot of eyeballs when it launches in the market. This time its the all new Celerio. What will grab attention more, is that the car maker claims that it the most fuel efficient petrol car in the country. The ‘Kitna deti hai’ tag line soldiers on proudly. But its not all about that. There is a lot more to the new second gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio. Some beautiful weather and awesome driving roads in the city of Udaipur were a good playground to put this new hatchback through its paces. Read on for more.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Exterior

While the old Celerio was conservative in terms of looks and design, the new one is leaps and bounds ahead. It is more curvy and has styling that will appeal to the young crowd. And it does have a presence. The swoopy headlamps and flanked by a sporty front grille featuring a thick chrome bar and the Suzuki logo. The front bumper gets black plastic treatment for the air damn and the fog lamp surrounds. The dark finish 15 inch alloys add character and presence, while the lift up door handles look pretty dated in this day and age. And that why the request button for keyless entry is positioned on the door. Quite out of place if you ask me. The rear is likeable too with nice looking tail lamps and a curvy tail gate. The rear bumper gets funky styling too. Overall it’s a nice looking hatch and certainly better looking in the flesh than in pictures. Plus you get a host of accessories that can add more spunk as well.
