Tata Motors has unveiled the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023. The concept displayed is almost close to production. The big news is that the Harrier EV will come with AWD, something that is missing in the ICE version.

The Harrier EV is retains the OMEGA architecture that is derived from the Land Rover D8 platform. Tata also mentioned that the Harrier EV will be based on the Gen 2 architecture and will come with two electric motors.

On thr design front, the Harrier EV retains the overall silhouette of the regular Harrier but comes with EV specific design elements. There is an illuminated Tata logo upfront with a closed grille. The front bumper is redesigned and on the side there are funky looking large alloy wheels. Also seen is a dual tone black roof which adds a nice contrast to the white paint shade. At the rear, it gets a light bar that connects the tail lamps and air ducts in the rear bumpers.

Tata also revealed the Sierra EV concept at the show. The car maker says that it aims to attain net zero emission by the year 2040.
