Japanese automaker Honda recently updated one of its best-selling cars, the WR-V. It is has been launched at a base price of Rs. 8.15 lakh with more features as standard, and also sees the addition of an intermediate trim level in the diesel powertrain line up.

Upgrades on the base ‘S’ trim include 16″ alloy wheels with a gunmetal finish, automatic climate control with a soft touch control panel, speed-sensitive central locking, rear parking assist, seat belt and overspeeding reminders amongst others. The top-of-line ‘VX’ trim, on the other hand, only gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel for a significant upgrade. This has translated to an overall increase of Rs.20,000 – Rs.30,000 on the S spec, and a Rs 5,000-Rs.8,000 on the VX spec.

In the diesel versions of the WR-V, a V variant has been added between the S and VX trim levels and includes features such as Honda’s 7-inch touch-enabled infotainment system, electric wing mirrors, reverse camera and cruise control.
