The seats are welded to the body using ultrasound. The steering wheel is also finished in Alcantara. The cabin also gets carbon fibre trims all around along with stainless steel pedals and M floor mats.

Gold colour is has been used in a host of parts in the M2 Coupe. It comes equipped with M Performance coil over suspension.

The M2 Safety car comes with a load of M Performance parts on the exterior. These include an exhaust system with carbon finishers, carbon side skirts, gloss black front grille and Air Breather, carbon mirror caps, carbon rear diffuser and carbon aerodynamic kit for the front.moto_gp_safety_car_02Power for the BMW M2 Coupe comes from a 3.0 litre inline six cylinder twin turbo petrol engine. The M2 is part of a large fleet MotoGP safety vehicles for the 2016 season. Apart from the M2, an M4 Coupe and M3 also do duty as safety cars. Other machines in the fleet include an X5 M medical car, M550 Touring medical car, an M5 sedan for the Safety Officer and two BMW S1000 RR safety bikes.
