Tata Punch Safety

The safety kit comprises of dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminders, ISOFIX for child seats, reverse camera, tyre puncture repair kit (it still gets a spare wheel) and a segment first Brake Swat Control which stop the car from swaying away from its path in case of abrupt or sudden braking situations.

Tata Punch Verdict

The Tata Punch isnt just another hatchback that wants to be an SUV. Apart from the SUV styling, it can actually do things that an SUV does. And that is the knock out punch of Tata’s new baby. It’s looks great and has street presence, has very likeable interiors and comes with a host of standard equipment too. Engine performance isnt the strongest and the AMT gearbox could have been better. But the overall package works well for the target buyer and the Punch makes for a great daily commuter and the occasional highway trip. Tata is expected to price the Punch between Rs. 5.5 to Rs. 8 lakh and if that holds true, it will be a fantastic value for money proposition that will deliver a strong punch to its rivals and then some.
