The 2023 GLC has a very classy stance and looks more luxurious than before like its bigger stable mates.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Exterior

The new GLC is based on the MRA II platform. The first gen model was already a good looking SUV but the second gen takes the style quotient many notches up. It is has a very classy stance and looks more luxurious than before like its bigger stable mates. It is also more aerodynamic than before with a drag co-efficient of 0.29. The large front grille sits prominently with a large three pointed star and a thick horizontal bar. The new LED headlamps are connected to the grille. The front bumper has chrome elements but its quite a striking design. The side profile does remind you of the earlier model and looks clean. What is a stand out are the 19 inch alloy wheels, easily one of the nicest designs from Mercedes in recent times. At the rear, the GLC gets slim LED tail lamps connected by a black central bar. A roof spoiler is nicely integrated into the tail gate. The rear bumper also gets chrome treatment and what I like is that it doesn’t seem overdone. Also as alwys there are fake exhausts in the rear bumper. Dimensions wise the new GLC measures 4716mm an increase of 60mm, height is 1640 mm, lower by 4mm and width is 1890mm (unchanged).  The wheelbase at 2888mm has increased over its predecessor.
