The MG Comet turns a lot of heads and there were many people asking about the car, the pricing.

MG Comet Verdict

It is very clear from MG who they are targeting with the Comet. This will be the 2nd or 3rd car in the garage for people who buy it. For what it is intended to be, it does most things right. It’s small and for someone commutes alone most of the time, this will work. For its size and its funkiness it could very well find a liking with the ladies as well. Be it shopping or dropping / picking kids from school. Its practicality and low cost of running all work in its favour. Sure it lacks on some features, the ride quality isn’t the best and I really wish it got better tyres. Still with price between Rs. 7.98 to 9.98 lakh, it undercuts the Tiago EV and gets the tag of India’s most affordable EV. MG has gone against the tide and done something different. Look at the MG Comet for what its meant to be. As a point A to point B urban commuter, it work and how. And you do plan to jump onto the EV bandwagon and want to do it with a bit of funkiness and style, the MG Comet will surely fit the bill.
